What we sell

We stock several hundred brand new books in seven subject areas:

Most of our catalog is books people need for something specific: textbooks for a course, guides for an exam or a license, references for clinical practice, codes and manuals for a trade, and titles on business, finance and technology. Alongside those we keep a shelf of history, biography, art, photography, cookbooks and fiction.

Every copy we sell is new and unused. Each listing gives the edition, ISBN-13, publisher, binding and page count, so you can match the book to a syllabus or a reading list before ordering.

How orders work

Orders ship from our warehouses in New Jersey and California, usually within one to two business days. Standard shipping is free on every U.S. order, and the tracking number is emailed when the parcel is handed to the carrier. Delivery usually takes two to seven business days after dispatch.

Unused books can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the book price. If a book arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, email us within 7 days with a photo and we will replace it or refund it at no cost to you.

Customer service is handled by email and phone, Monday to Friday, and we reply within 24 business hours. The registered office address above is for mail only; orders are shipped from the warehouses.

Is Oak Street Books a real store?

Yes. Oak Street Books is owned and operated by Tilden Goods LLC, a registered U.S. company. Orders ship from our warehouses in New Jersey and California, and we answer email and phone calls Monday to Friday.

Do you have a store I can visit?

No. We sell online only. The address on this page is the company’s registered office, which handles mail; the books are kept at our warehouses in New Jersey and California.

Are the books new?

Yes. Every book we sell is a brand new copy. We do not sell used or ex-library books.

How do I make sure I am buying the right edition?

Each product page lists the ISBN, binding, publisher, publication date and edition. Match the ISBN to your syllabus, exam notice or employer requirement; the copy we send carries that ISBN. If you need a specific printing confirmed, email [email protected] before you order.

Can you get a title that is not on your site?

Email the title or ISBN to [email protected]. We will tell you whether we can add it and when.

Do you offer bulk or institutional pricing?

Yes, for 5 or more copies of a title. Email the titles and quantities to [email protected], or choose “Academic / Bulk Pricing” on the contact form, and we will send a quote.

Can I get an invoice for my school or company?

Yes. Every order comes with an itemized confirmation. If your school or company needs an invoice with its own details, email [email protected] with the order number and we will send one.
