2. Orders

An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send the shipping confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order before shipping if a title is out of stock, a price or description was listed in error, or we cannot verify the payment. If we cancel, we refund any payment in full.

3. Prices and descriptions

Prices are in U.S. dollars and can change without notice; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout. Book details such as edition, ISBN, page count and binding are taken from the publisher’s data. If a listing contains an obvious error, we will tell you before shipping and offer the choice of the correct item or a refund.

4. Shipping, payment and returns

Shipping, payment and returns are governed by our Shipping Policy, Payment Policy and Refund & Returns Policy, which form part of these terms.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for orders placed with it. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use this website to place fraudulent orders, to scrape or copy the catalog in bulk, to interfere with its operation, or for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual property

The website design, text we have written, and our name and logo belong to Tilden Goods LLC. Book covers, titles and descriptions belong to their publishers and authors and are shown to identify the products offered for sale.

8. Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Spokane County, Washington, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Orders are governed by the terms in force when the order was placed.
