About this book

An Atlas of Es Devlin is the first monograph on the practice of artist Es Devlin, whose work spans art, activism, theatre, poetry, music, dance, opera, and sculpture. It was published by Thames & Hudson in 2023 as an 858-page hardcover.

The volume documents over 120 projects across more than 30 years in over 700 color images, and its pages include foldouts, cut-outs, a range of paper types, mirror, and translucencies. A 50,000-word text carries the artist’s commentary on each work, along with interviews with collaborators including Hans Ulrich Obrist, Bono, Brian Eno, Sam Mendes, and Pharrell Williams.
