Gems from the Equinox: Instructions by Aleister Crowley for His Own Magical Order

Gems from the Equinox presents Israel Regardie’s selections from the ten original volumes of the Equinox, the periodical first published in 1909 in which Aleister Crowley’s writings appeared. It is aimed at students of occultism, mysticism, Thelema and magick. Weiser Books published it in 2007; the hardcover runs 1184 pages.

The material covers Crowley’s magical order, magical rituals, yoga, invocations and sex magick, among other topics. The publisher notes that it is written for the advanced practitioner, while beginners can draw on its yoga postures and breathing techniques, ceremonial rituals and meditations, an Enochian magick primer and The Book of the Law.
