About this book
The Magical Treatise of Solomon, or Hygromanteia is an English translation from the Greek by Ioannis Marathakis, published for magic scholars in the Sourceworks of Ceremonial Magic series. Llewellyn Publications released it in 2012 as a 348-page hardcover.
The publisher describes the Hygromanteia as the source of the Key of Solomon and presents this as the first translation of the work from the Greek into English. According to the publisher, it is the complete text, now arranged in its proper order, unlike the abridged Latin translation. The publisher also describes Marathakis as a native-born Greek academic with extensive knowledge of ceremonial magic.
