Cyanotype Toning by Annette Golaz explains a process, developed by the author, for toning cyanotype prints with plant material, and it is written for readers at all levels. Routledge published it in 2021 as a 270-page paperback.

Part One is a step-by-step section on printing and toning, including how paper choice, water quality, bath temperature and toning time affect the result. The book includes a chart of more than 60 tested papers, recipes for specific colors, instructions for duotone and tricolor prints, and a list of more than 380 tested plant parts with possible color outcomes.

Part Two is devoted to contemporary artists who have explored toning with botanicals, and the book also offers ideas for classroom use.
